Computer To Plate (CTP) has been economically viable for many years where high volume plate throughput or fully automated production is important, but for many companies, the established film-based production route has still proved attractive. With the introduction of the Screen PlateRite 8200 Niagara, all that is about to change. The PlateRite Niagara is an affordable CtP system that has been designed to bring the benefits of digital plate production to everybody.

The PlateRite 8200 Niagara features a patented imaging head that uses Screen’s advanced laser and optical technologies – technologies that have made Screen the world’s number one supplier of CtP. Screen’s innovative approach has enabled the company to set a new price/performance point for CtP.
