Thermal CTP Plates
ICG - MARATHON THERMAL CTP PLATES has been in the making for the last 12 months. The coating is designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom together with the chemistry to develop the Marathon Plate. Our technology is patented worldwide and is now fully tested on all 830nm Thermal Computer To Plate Setters. By using our self-invented patent technology, the advantage of the ICG - Marathon Thermal CTP plates is that the plate is entirely stable for several months at temperatures up to at least 40°C yet has the necessary short imaging time and excellent printing characteristics. The printing quality is excellent and there is no problems controlling the ink and water balance.
With the application of the high performace thermal coating, the advantage of the ICG - Marathon thermal CTP plate is that the plate has good alkaline resistance, long run length, good latitude of plate setting and developing a wide range of applications.
ICG stock a vast range of finished sizes and have in-house cutting facilities to accommodate fast turnaround throughout the United Kingdom. Also from ICG's Tewkesbury facility, the chemicals and solutions are manufactured for the range of ICG - Marathon offset digital CTP plates. A stock of 1M square metres will be held in the UK to service and supply our European dealer network who are authorised by ICG to promote, sell and support our range of products.
